Reports and later findings

What did the later investigations establish about the reports?

Frozen research edition ·

Denmark · autumn 2025

The selected dossiers do not support a resolved wave-wide count of drones. Copenhagen and Aalborg remained inconclusive; the military retained a probable-drone assessment at Borris.

The denominator is six selected archive dossiers, not six witness reports, six aircraft or all Danish reports. All six were reviewed; three have a case-linked later primary assessment and three lack one. Open here includes missing primary evidence. No probability or national confirmation rate can be calculated.

New Jersey and New York · Nov–Dec 2024

The four selected dossiers do not support a resolved count of drones. Federal agencies described a mix of lawful drones, aircraft, helicopters and stars; later White House statements called the New Jersey flights FAA-authorized without releasing case-level data. No facility or airport frame has a later primary finding.

The denominator is four archive dossier frames, not four sightings: one statewide New Jersey dossier overlaps the Picatinny and Earle facility frames, and Stewart Airport (New York) is a separate frame. The federal total of more than 5,000 tips is not divided over days or dossiers. All four were reviewed; one has a case-linked later primary statement. Open includes missing primary evidence. No probability or confirmation rate can be calculated.
