Reports and later findings
What did the later investigations establish about the reports?
–
Frozen research edition ·
What the review establishes
The selected dossiers do not support a resolved wave-wide count of drones. Copenhagen and Aalborg remained inconclusive; the military retained a probable-drone assessment at Borris.
6 dossiers with reports · 0 with later established drone presence · 0 debunked · 6 open in this primary-source review
The denominator is six selected archive dossiers, not six witness reports, six aircraft or all Danish reports. All six were reviewed; three have a case-linked later primary assessment and three lack one. Open here includes missing primary evidence. No probability or national confirmation rate can be calculated.
Important: the archive labels the 26 September Billund alarm “debunked”, citing a police explanation relayed by the press. The original police publication was not located. That dossier keeps its archive status, but is not added to the primary-only debunked total above. This is a source-availability limit, not a reversal of the star explanation. Netavisen Grindsted
One timeline · three separate measures
Daily archive counts and article views share dates, not units. The axis breaks after 6 October 2025; the three later findings are dated publication markers, not counts of aircraft. Scroll the figure horizontally on small screens, or use the tables below. No attention data is inferred for the later period. After the break, publication markers are evenly spaced for readability; their spacing does not represent elapsed time.

Later primary findings
1 ·
Defence concluded that several observations involved drones. The public summary does not allocate those findings to our six dossier frames. Its Borris account must be read with the October correction.
Evalueringen konkluderer på baggrund af soldaters rapporterede observationer samt tekniske informationer, at der i flere tilfælde har været tale om droner.
2 ·
National Police explicitly left Copenhagen and North Jutland unresolved. Its finding that most investigations ruled out drones cannot be allocated to unnamed Billund or Sønderborg cases. It also describes misidentifications involving scheduled aircraft and wind-turbine blades; this does not explain every report.
I enkelte efterforskninger har det hverken kunnet påvises eller afvises, at der har været tale om droner.

3 ·
Defence corrected the timing of gunfire at Borris and retained its assessment that the objects were probably drones. A possible temporal overlap with a civilian aircraft is not identification of the object fired upon. This remains open under our definitive-presence rule.
der sandsynligvis har været droner.
Det kan derfor ikke afvises, at der har været tidssammenfald mellem skudafgivelsen og passage af et civilt fly i området.

Selection and limits
Why this wave? A bounded Danish review links six existing dossiers to the Copenhagen hub and dated police and military follow-ups. A cross-country total would combine different investigations and weaker case mappings. This is one wave, not a European census.
Frozen archive edition: 2 November 2026. Select countryCode=DK and event dates from 22 September through 6 October 2025, all categories. Statement dates and unknown dates are not plotted as events. Each dossier is counted once, on its recorded event date; this is not the number of calls received that day. Updates add no new dossier. Six distinct dossier frames were reviewed; unique physical events and overlap between wider investigations remain unestablished.
Archive status is the status in the frozen edition, not necessarily what was known on the event day. Source corroboration is separate: editorial curation or multiple articles do not establish drone presence. “Not established” does not mean “debunked”. Official national findings cannot be assigned to an unnamed individual dossier.
