FIELD GUIDE / DRONE ATLAS / 01

Fixed-wing symbolTurkish Aerospace ANKA
A Turkish medium-altitude, long-endurance reconnaissance and strike family, including the satellite-linked ANKA-S. A Kazakh defence-ministry account of troop trials provides a separate user-side evidence origin. The current manufacturer table defines this edition’s numerical baseline; it does not establish every export configuration and must not be applied to the unrelated flying-wing ANKA III.[1][2]

Intervals preserve the published bounds; they are not statistical confidence intervals. A blank lower or upper bound stays open. Values belong to the named configuration, not every aircraft.

DRONELEDGER / SCALE LAB
Turn the scale plane
A flat, schematic outline in perspective, not a 3D model. Only sourced length and span are scaled; height and internal geometry are unknown. For intervals, the upper endpoints are drawn.
8.6 m / 17.5 m[1]
Size in everyday terms
One scale. Different machines.

Human height is an illustrative 1.8 m; bus length an illustrative 12 m. Car length uses the cited MINI specification. Vehicle heights and drone side contours are schematic. Top views preserve published length and span; an absent dimension is never guessed.
One car length here is 3.821 m: MINI Cooper 3 door, March 2020 specification.

Form, sound & identification limits
- The current web table says up to 30 hours. Older “30+” brochures are not merged with it. Length 8.6 m and span 17.5 m belong to the same current table; all remain manufacturer claims.[1]
- Kazakhstan’s ministry says ANKA passed experimental troop trials and entered service. This confirms its own acceptance account, not the outcome of every test or the accuracy of all advertised performance figures.[2]
- Line-of-sight datalink and satellite communication ranges are communication metrics, not total flight distances. A common ground segment with AKSUNGUR does not mean the aircraft have the same mass, payload or endurance.[1]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
No licensed, model-attested recording is available in our sound library.
What does it cost?
Published USD figures use different price bases and years. Airframes, export packages and support are not equivalent. These are not current offers or verified production costs.
