What we know
Five civilian injuries were reported by police, as relayed in El Informador’s 14 October report published at 08:20:34 Colombia time (UTC−05:00). This is a publication cutoff, not a known time of the police count. Tu Razón del Valle calls the same toll preliminary. The final toll and independent medical confirmation remain unavailable.
El Informador and Tu Razón del Valle are separate publications; both relay the Valle police account. They therefore represent two publisher families, not two independent confirmations of the underlying claims. Both describe drones, five civilian injuries and building damage. El Informador dates the attack to 13 October; Tu Razón’s 14 October article says the previous Tuesday. It supplies no reliable publication clock.
What remains unknown
The final casualty total, medical severity and independent verification of drone use and responsibility remain unknown. The articles share a police origin; neither establishes an independently verified toll. No fatalities total is established. The map marker represents the settlement, not a strike location.
Operator attribution: Claimed by a party (not independently verified). Police preliminarily attributed the attack to the Jaime Martínez dissident group’s Ricardo Velásquez column. Responsibility remains an allegation. [1][2]
How the story changed
