Privacy — source links
Controller: DroneLedger (editors), based in the Netherlands. Privacy contact: info@droneincidents.com.
We use public source links and dossier references to research corrections and maintain a verifiable public archive. This and daily abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Optional reply email and permission for anonymous thanks rely on consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. The public form asks for no name or email address. Links are not opened or published automatically. Do not include personal or sensitive data.
Processor and hosting: Hostinger International Ltd, Cyprus (EU), with the server in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Email also uses Hostinger. No transfers outside the EU.
Submissions are deleted after 30 days. Daily abuse counters use a keyed code instead of your IP address and expire the next UTC day; this inbox stores no IP address. Since 5 November 2026, daily server snapshots exclude the inbox. The hosting provider makes a full server backup weekly: a submission may remain there until that backup’s retention period ends. We use these backups only to restore service after a failure.
For access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent, contact info@droneincidents.com with the dossier link and submission time so we can locate your submission. You may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Netherlands) or the supervisory authority in your EU country.
