Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev said a second merchant ship, the Azov Concord, was hit and sank about 17 nautical miles east of Krapets in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone, in the same series of drone attacks in which the Chelsea 3 was struck off Byala on the night of 12 to 13 October 2026.

What we know
The ship sank. BTA and BNT report one crew member rescued; Sega cites the Varna regional governor as saying four sailors were rescued in an operation northeast of Cape Shabla. According to Sega, the ship was flagged in St Kitts and Nevis, managed by a Turkish company and sailing from Romania to Türkiye.
Reported by Bulgaria's prime minister, whose country is not a party to the war, as one of the ships hit in the night's drone attacks; carried by the national news agency BTA, the public broadcaster BNT and Sega. The number of drones that hit this ship is not given.
What remains unknown
Who launched the drones, how many hit the ship, the size of its crew and whether anyone is missing were not clear at the time of reporting. Maritime.bg, cited by Sega, placed the sinking east of Shabla rather than Krapets.
Operator attribution: Not established. Not established. Radev said there was no solid, clear evidence against any party, while arguing that the outcome benefits the Russian Federation; he said he would summon Russia's ambassador for talks.
