Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik

A Russian jet-powered flying-wing combat-drone programme developed by Sukhoi. Rostec describes prototypes and production ambitions; GUR separately reports examination of wreckage from the October 2024 loss in Ukraine. The prototype record gives this programme incident relevance, but neither stealth marketing nor an announced production year establishes operational maturity or a standard configuration.[1][2]

Intervals preserve the published bounds; they are not statistical confidence intervals. A blank lower or upper bound stays open. Values belong to the named configuration, not every aircraft.

One scale. Different machines.

No scaled drawing is provided for this configuration. See the sourced dimensions and their limitations.

Human height is an illustrative 1.8 m; bus length an illustrative 12 m. Car length uses the cited MINI specification. Vehicle heights and drone side contours are schematic. Top views preserve published length and span; an absent dimension is never guessed.

One car length here is 3.821 m: MINI Cooper 3 door, March 2020 specification.

Form, sound & identification limits

  • Rostec’s May 2022 release forecasts serial production in 2023 and describes a flat exhaust on a prototype. A forecast is not evidence that deliveries happened. The flying-wing design is sourced, but a low radar signature has not been independently quantified in these sources.[1]
  • GUR dates the loss near Kostiantynivka to 5 October 2024 and publishes an examination of foreign-made electronics. That is an original physical-evidence origin distinct from the manufacturer. Component markings do not certify speed, endurance, range or the capabilities of every prototype.[2]
  • Rostec attributes its approximate mass and speed to unspecified open sources. They are not adopted as measurements here. S-70 is not a Shahed/Geran jet variant, and the background loss is not automatically imported as a dossier or type assessment.[1][2]

Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.

No licensed, model-attested recording is available in our sound library.

What does it cost?

Published USD figures use different price bases and years. Airframes, export packages and support are not equivalent. These are not current offers or verified production costs.
