Kargu-2 / KARGU
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
STM’s Turkish rotary-wing loitering-munition line. UN experts identify Kargu-2 remnants in Libya in 2020. Current KARGU marketing concerns later configurations; its endurance and range must not be attached retrospectively to those remnants.[1][2]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.

Form, sound & identification limits
- Annex 30 compares recovered parts and manufacturer imagery. It supports the panel’s identification and presence claim; it does not establish an autonomous killing, a casualty count or the precise control mode of an attack.[2]
- The 2026 press statement says more than 30 minutes and 10 km operational range. The latter is not a total flight distance. Only indexed text was available for these sources; no dimensions or mass are promoted from the old catalogue.[1][2]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
