Bayraktar Kızılelma

A Turkish jet combat-aircraft programme from Baykar, distinct from its propeller-driven TB2 and TB3. Reuters covered the 2022 maiden flight and separately checked public flight data. The current manufacturer page describes a later specification and several proposed versions; those numbers must not be retroactively assigned to the first prototype or treated as combat certification.[1][2]

Top-view bounding dimensions share one metre scale. Internal contours and side profiles are schematic; height is not inferred. Ranges show their largest outline and retain their labels.

Intervals preserve the published bounds; they are not statistical confidence intervals. A blank lower or upper bound stays open. Values belong to the named configuration, not every aircraft.

Turn the scale plane

A flat, schematic outline in perspective, not a 3D model. Only sourced length and span are scaled; height and internal geometry are unknown. For intervals, the upper endpoints are drawn.

Human height is an illustrative 1.8 m; bus length an illustrative 12 m. Car length uses the cited MINI specification. Vehicle heights and drone side contours are schematic. Top views preserve published length and span; an absent dimension is never guessed.

One car length here is 3.821 m: MINI Cooper 3 door, March 2020 specification.

Form, sound & identification limits

  • The current table gives 14.5 m length, 10 m span and 8,500 kg MTOW. Its 1,500 kg payload capacity is separate. These are manufacturer claims for the present web configuration, not measurements repeated by Reuters.[1]
  • Baykar publishes cruise and maximum speeds in Mach and a 500 nautical-mile combat radius. Neither is converted into a universal km/h speed or a total-flight-range observation: air conditions and mission definitions matter.[1]
  • The maiden-flight report concerns the development programme, not independent verification of stealth, autonomous combat or carrier qualification. The canard-jet silhouette is schematic; no radar cross-section is inferred from it.[1][2]

Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.

No licensed, model-attested recording is available in our sound library.

What does it cost?

Published USD figures use different price bases and years. Airframes, export packages and support are not equivalent. These are not current offers or verified production costs.
