Loitering munition · Loitering munition
Fixed-wing symbolWB Warmate
A Polish loitering-munition system from WB Group, with a separate recoverable observation mode. Poland’s defence ministry documents procurement independently of the manufacturer’s product page. This profile covers the baseline table only: Warmate TL, Warmate 5 and Warmate 8X are separate configurations, and the maker’s conflicting endurance statements are kept visible rather than averaged.[1][2]

The numbers, with their sources
Intervals preserve the published bounds; they are not statistical confidence intervals. A blank lower or upper bound stays open. Values belong to the named configuration, not every aircraft.

Size in everyday terms
Along its body: shorter than one small car’s length (1.1 m body length).
One car length here is 3.821 m: MINI Cooper 3 door, March 2020 specification.

Human height is an illustrative 1.8 m; bus length an illustrative 12 m. Car length uses the cited MINI specification. Vehicle heights and drone side contours are schematic. Top views preserve published length and span; an absent dimension is never guessed.

Form, sound & identification limits
- WB’s technical table states 60 minutes; its descriptive prose says 70 minutes without defining another configuration. Only the table value enters the dashboard. This unresolved discrepancy is not presented as a 60–70 minute test interval.[1]
- The Polish ministry’s framework concerns systems and later implementing orders. A system is not one munition, and an agreement is not proof that all units have already been delivered. No unit price is calculated from it.[2]
- The table labels 1.6 m as width, not explicitly wingspan, and 30 km as RLOS reach. Those field meanings are retained. Neither becomes an unqualified flight range, and observation-mode recovery is not assigned to an expended attack munition.[1]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
No licensed, model-attested recording is available in our sound library.
What does it cost?
Published USD figures use different price bases and years. Airframes, export packages and support are not equivalent. These are not current offers or verified production costs.
