Shahed-129
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
An Iranian reusable reconnaissance and strike aircraft, distinct from the one-way Shahed-131/136 family. Iran Watch separates its multipurpose role and communications-dependent range; Insikt discusses the manufacturer’s development lineage. A bare “Shahed” mention does not identify this aircraft.[1][2]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.
Form, sound & identification limits
- Iran Watch’s range table and footnote describe different communications conditions. Their numbers are not collapsed into one geometric reach or equated with a one-way attack range. Dimensions remain unestablished in this checked input.[1]
- Insikt identifies the Shahed manufacturer’s development lineage, not a new physical examination of the 24-hour figure. Shahed-123/139 naming uncertainty is not resolved by treating those names as confirmed aliases.[2][1]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
