DRONELEDGER / Press factsheet
Orlan-10
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
A Russian reconnaissance drone examined in original component and weapons investigations. GUR’s declared specification and CAR’s documented specimen table give different dimensions. The source versions stay separate; Orlan-30 is not treated as an Orlan-10 configuration here.[1][2]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.
Form, sound & identification limits
- CAR’s table prints approximately 2.0 m length and 2.3 m total span; GUR declares 1.8 m and 3.1 m. This discrepancy is unresolved, not evidence for a newly named variant. The illustration uses only the matched GUR pair.[2][1]
- Flight distance and communication distance are separate quantities. The declared 600 km is not a 600 km control radius, and neither value identifies the drone in an incident without source-bound evidence.[1]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
