DRONELEDGER / Press factsheet
Elbit Hermes 450
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
An Israeli single-engine reconnaissance aircraft. Singapore’s 2015 operator fiche and Elbit’s brochure describe different weight and endurance bases; the brochure’s 2016 copyright is not its later upload date.[1]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.
Form, sound & identification limits
- The single-engine aircraft has a composite airframe. A long straight wing alone cannot separate it from other reconnaissance drones.[1]
- RSAF gives 450 kg gross weight and more than 14 hours; Elbit gives 550 kg takeoff weight and 17 hours. No hybrid specification or universal aircraft price is inferred.[1][2]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
