DRONELEDGER / Press factsheet
IAI Harop
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
An Israeli loitering munition from IAI with electro-optical observation and remote human supervision. The manufacturer advertises nine-hour endurance; SIPRI independently documents transfers to Azerbaijan. Transfer evidence is not a flight test of endurance or a universal unit-price contract.[1][2]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.

Form, sound & identification limits
- IAI describes a human-in-the-loop system. This should not be silently re-labelled as an autonomous-kill claim. Harop and the related Harpy are separate products with different public descriptions.[1]
- Only endurance is quantitatively established by the checked manufacturer text. Conflicting older range and warhead values are withheld rather than combined. No measured length/span pair is assigned.[1]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
