No scaled drawing is provided for this configuration. See the sourced dimensions and their limitations.

Human height is an illustrative 1.8 m; bus length an illustrative 12 m. Car length uses the cited MINI specification. Vehicle heights and drone side contours are schematic. Top views preserve published length and span; an absent dimension is never guessed.

One car length here is 3.821 m: MINI Cooper 3 door, March 2020 specification.

Fire Point FP-5 Flamingo

Form, sound & identification limits

  • Fire Point also makes FP-1. In AP’s 21 August 2025 report, Iryna Terekh claimed about one Flamingo daily, targeting seven daily by October 2025. This was a company claim and a production goal, not audited output.[1]
  • On 14 April 2026, Ukraine’s presidency claimed range up to 3,000 km, a warhead over one tonne and serial production from 2025. These are official claims, not independent performance tests.[2]
  • Defense Express (18 August 2025) linked Flamingo to Milanion’s IDEX-2025 FP-5 using appearance and advertised specifications. Its one-tonne warhead figure is Milanion’s claim. Similarity does not independently establish design ownership; length is unknown in this profile.[3]
  • Defense Express (3 August 2026) described the earlier engine as AI-25TL, while relaying Russian claims of a different British engine in debris. Treat both identifications as reported claims; the replacement model and a universal engine specification remain unconfirmed.[4]
  • RFE/RL (2 September 2025) relayed Militarnyi’s military-source claim of first Flamingo combat use in occupied Crimea; earlier reports named Neptune. The weapon attribution and first-use claim are disputed reporting, not a verified first-use date.[5]
  • The Kyiv Independent (26 February 2026) reported Ukraine’s General Staff attributing the 20–21 February Votkinsk attack to Flamingo. It also relayed Zelensky’s claim that a factory strike delayed production before it resumed. Neither statement verifies total output or every launch outcome.[8]
  • The Kyiv Independent (29 August 2025) reported a NABU investigation into suspected inflation of drone component prices or deliveries. Fire Point acknowledged the inquiry and denied wrongdoing. Production figures could not be independently confirmed; allegations are not findings of guilt.[6]
  • Ukrainska Pravda (29 August 2025) relayed NABU’s clarification that NABU and SAPO were not investigating the Flamingo missile. That statement distinguishes the missile from the drone-procurement inquiry; it is not a performance certification.[7]
  • Interfax (18 October 2026) relayed Russia’s Defence Ministry claim of seven Flamingo cruise missiles intercepted during a day. This is an involved-party claim, not seven independently verified interceptions or a count of drones.[9]

Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.

No licensed, model-attested recording is available in our sound library.

What does it cost?

Published USD figures use different price bases and years. Airframes, export packages and support are not equivalent. These are not current offers or verified production costs.
