DRONELEDGER / Press factsheet
DJI Matrice family
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
DJI’s professional Matrice quadcopters include materially different 30, 300 and 350 platforms. Current manufacturer specifications are kept by configuration, while an independent UK investigation documents a Matrice 300 occurrence. A family name cannot select the aircraft, battery or payload.[1][2][3]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.
Form, sound & identification limits
- Dimensions exclude propellers and are body length/width, not rotor span. The 350’s 6.47 kg battery-equipped weight is different from its 9.2 kg maximum takeoff mass. The 30 series has its own mass and EU C2 limits.[1][2]
- The 55-minute 350 figure is a manufacturer test without payload, not a loaded endurance guarantee. AAIB’s Matrice 300 investigation is independent occurrence evidence, not verification of the 30 or 350 performance figures and not a new imported archive dossier.[1][3]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
