Italmas
A compact selection from this profile, with sources and limits. Other configurations and additional measurements remain in the full profile.
A Russian propeller-driven one-way attack drone from the ZALA AERO group, also designated Izdeliye-54 and first shown at Army-2023. The manufacturer claims a range above 200 km; Ukraine’s HUR catalogue lists a declared 200 km flight range and catapult launch. Claims of its first combat use in October 2023 were contested; Ukrainian reports name it in later attacks, without independent per-type counts.[1][2]
Public-source profile. Performance claims are attributed; type links do not verify an incident identification.

Form, sound & identification limits
- ZALA AERO, 30 October 2023, says the Italmas has an internal combustion engine “that uses fuel from tanks located in the wings of the drone”; its chief designer claimed a range exceeding 200 kilometres and a larger warhead. These are manufacturer statements, not independent measurements.[1]
- HUR’s War & Sanctions catalogue (updated 4 May 2026) lists under “Declared characteristics” a 200 km flight range, pneumatic-catapult take-off and an internal combustion engine, and links the type to CST LLC, AEROSCAN LLC and ZALA AERO JSC, the same companies it lists for the Lancet series. Declared characteristics are not test data.[2]
- FDD’s Long War Journal, 27 October 2023, found “little solid evidence” that the drone reported over Ukraine on 22–23 October 2023 was the Italmas; it judged a rudimentary decoy-type aircraft more likely. Identifications from that week remain contested and are not used here as a first-use date.[3]
Shape or sound alone cannot identify a drone. Follow local public-safety alerts; do not approach wreckage.
