A reusable medium-altitude reconnaissance and strike aircraft, distinct from Shahed-131/136 one-way drones and Shahed-149. Treasury identifies SAIRC as developer for the IRGC Aerospace Force. Critical Threats analyses prior Iranian use, with technical claims partly sourced to Iranian media. Its cited range is qualified by datalink limitations and is not adopted as a validated operational radius here. Discussion of possible Russian procurement in July 2022 does not establish a Shahed-129 transfer or Russian operator. Dimensions, unit price and a complete export list remain unverified.
